Inquiry into services for young people launched
The Education Committee has launched a inquiry and call for evidence into services for young people.
The inquiry into the provision of services beyond the school/college day for young people, primarily those aged 13-25 will consider both universal services and targeted services for vulnerable groups. The inquiry recognises the role the voluntary sector plays and invites submissions that address issues around volunteering and the role of the voluntary sector in providing services for young people.
The committee asks for written submissions by noon of Wed 15 December 2010.
